Ginatilan - WLJ 2021 - Activity #19

 Activity 19 was to choose a town or city from your country of study, and imagine you are there. What will you do there.

For me I chose Ginatilan in Cebu because that way, I can visit my Freinds and Family. In Ginatilan I would also go visit the Breath-taking views of the Ginatilan Waterfalls. But be careful if your on the swing that you jump off on and go into the lake, Therefore are Stingrays.

I would stay at the Ginatilan Beach Resort for a bit before heading over to my parents house they own, Because of the following reasons.

 - Free Breakfast

- Easy Beach Acess 

- Quicker getting into town.

Its just beautiful. Then I will move over to the house my family owns up in the province in the hills.

Philippines Flag - Winter Learning Journey 2021 - Activity #18

The flag of the Philippines.

The Philippine national flag has a rectangular design that consists of a white equilateral triangle, symbolizing liberty, equality and fraternity; a horizontal blue stripe for peace, truth, and justice; and a horizontal red stripe for patriotism and valor.

The three stars stand for the three big islands of the Philippines, namely Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. As for the colours used, white represents hope for equality, while the blue stripe stands for peace, truth, and justice. Finally, the red stripe symbolises patriotism and valour.

The blue stripe represents liberty, the white means equality, while the red stripe means fraternity. Despite its simplicity, it is one of the most well known of national flags across the globe.

Why I chose the Philippines Flag is because it is my country of study and I am from there.

$1000 Dollar Week - Winter Learning Journey 2021 - Activity #6

The Great Miagration - Winter Learning Journey 2021 - Activity #2

This happens in Africa where millions of wildebeests, zebras, antelopes and other herd animals migrate from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya and back to Serengeti. This happens every year. The animals travel 2900 km. in search of food and water. This is a map of the wildebeests journey every month.

It is estimated 250,000 animals die during this yearly migration but many animals are also born during this time. The wildebeest cross rivers full of crocodiles during The Great Migration. Many get eaten during the crossing. The ones that escape will continue their journey.

What is the Great Migration? Throughout the year, East Africa's wide-open grasslands are the setting for the Great Migration as millions of wildebeests, Burchell's zebras, antelopes and other herd animals make the trek from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Masai Mara in Kenya.

Chicken Adobo, How to Make it - Winter Learning Journey 2021 - Activity 15

 This poster shows how to make Chicken Adobo.

And here’s how to make it. Basically, you marinate the chicken briefly, sear the chicken, then simmer it in the pan with the marinade for 25 minutes. It will look watery right up until the last few minutes, then all of a sudden, the liquid transforms magically into a syrupy glaze!

I feel sorry for those that have to face those things.

Verkhoyansk - Russia

So Far by looking at photos of Verkhoyansk I saw...

• Snow, Lots and Lots of Snow
• Animals waiting to be taken to somewhere warm
• Lakes
• A -51 degree tempature.

So from my conserns, If i were to got to either Burkina Faso or Verkhoyansk, I would choose...

Verkhoyansk because there is no poverty or Terroirsts. But the fact its that cold, I wont mind, Just bring a lot of warm clothing.

Kilt Tartan, Scottish Skirt - Winter Learning Journey 2021 - Activity #9

Kilt Tartan

The Scottish Skirt.

The Kilt Tartan is worn by mostly male Scottish men. Also people playing the bagpipes, you could commonly see them wearing it.

As you may know, the Kilt Tartan is originated in Scotland.

If it were to be apart of a Sport's team uniform, I would say probably would fit in the Scottish Men's Basketball League.

Hello Guys, today I will be teaching you the lyrics to the Filipino National Anthem. I chose Philippines because that is the country I am from.

Transport Creativity! - Winter Learning Journey 2021 - Activity #4

 

For this I did a Jet Engine Powered Bus using a Air Jordan's shoe box. I used my Creativity with the Jet Engine Powered bus, It can also fly up to around 50,000ft above us. That is 7,000ft more than the average Boeing 767.
