Waiti is my Favourite Star

My Favourite Star is Waiti because I think it is important that someone watches over our waterways so we can drink fresh water.

Waiti also watches over all Marine Life evreywhere so that Marine Life can live in peace.

Another reason I chose Waiti is because I LOVE swimming. Sometimes I go to QE2 to Swim in the slow lane as a hobby. This year's swimming competitions for school, I came 2nd place in both races I did, 50m Backstroke and 50m Freestyle.

Matariki is the Maori New Year, It is also the nine sisters. We have been learning about Matariki in class, I can still remember some names of the stars like, Pohutukawa. Happy Birthday to the Queen!.

Queens Birthday Weekend!.

On Monday, June the 7th it was the Queen Elizabeth the 2nd's Birthday. All schools around the world gets to have a day off on the queens birthday.
